Francisco Sánchez y García holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), where he obtained his degree in 1970. With more than 55 years of professional experience, he has been a reference in the field of Labor Law, Social Security and Corporate-Labor Strategy in Mexico.

He began his career at Arroyo, Gaxiola y Sánchez Abogados, S.C., handling civil, commercial and labor matters. In 1970, he joined Roel Abogados, S.C., specializing in labor law and became a partner in 1974. In 1981, he founded Francisco Sánchez y García, Asociados, S.C., from where he has advised leading national and international companies.

Between 1991 and 1995, he held a Corporate Management position at Teléfonos de México (Telmex), coordinating the areas of Human Resources, Labor Relations and Legal. He has been a member of the Boards of Directors of Teléfonos del Noroeste, Afore Inbursa, Siefore Inbursa, Intelmex and other Telmex subsidiaries, as well as part of the trust that managed the acquisition of Telmex shares by the Union.

During the 1980s, he collaborated with the National Productivity Center (CENAPRO) in the design of labor strategies for public sector companies, participating in the development of regulations on collective relations. He has also been an advisor to Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) and the Ministry of Energy, as well as participating in privatization processes in key sectors such as finance, telecommunications, railroads, petrochemicals and electricity.

Gustavo obtained his law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and completed his studies in senior management, having completed the AD-2 Program at the IPADE Business School in 2023.

He began his career at Goodrich, Riquelme y Asociados, where from 1982 to 1988 he was part of the Labor Law and Social Security area.

He was a professor of Labor Law I and II at the Law School of UNAM (1987-1996) and professor of the Labor Law and Social Security module in the Master’s Degree in Human Resources at Universidad La Salle (1992-1999). He has participated as a lecturer in diploma courses and seminars at prestigious institutions, such as the Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas of the UNAM, the Law Faculty of the UNAM, the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, the Universidad Intercontinental, among others.

He is an expert in collective bargaining and labor dispute resolution, with extensive experience in dealing with the most representative unions in the country. He has participated in complex negotiations that include wage and contract revisions, company closings, strike notices, among others.

Currently, he is Managing Partner of Francisco Sánchez y García Asociados, S.C., where he has been part since 1988, advising more than 300 companies in strategic sectors such as telecommunications, mining, railroads, manufacturing, automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, construction, entertainment, financial and aeronautics, among others.

Francisco obtained his law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where he graduated with honors in 1996. Subsequently, he completed a postgraduate course in Commercial Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho and obtained a Master’s degree in International Legal Studies (LL.M.) at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

He began his professional career in 1993 at Creel, García-Cuéllar y Muggenburg, S.C., specializing in corporate law and foreign investment. Later, he joined Franck, Galicia y Robles, S.C., where he worked on corporate, financial, competition, telecommunications and energy transactions. In 2000, he was invited as a foreign associate at Latham & Watkins (Washington, D.C.), advising telecommunications companies in international investment and litigation.

Since 2001, he has been a partner at Francisco Sánchez y García Asociados, S.C., where he advises domestic and foreign clients on corporate and labor law. He is a founding partner of the office in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, and currently serves as Managing Partner of both offices of the firm.

Carlos has a law degree from the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a Master’s Degree in Law with emphasis on the problem of Legal Supranationality from the Escuela Libre de Derecho.

He has 28 years of experience in individual labor litigation.

He is the director responsible for the litigation area of the firm, where he has collaborated for more than 22 years in the attention of the more than 10 thousand claims that the firm currently handles nationwide.

Carlos has participated in various forums as a speaker on the most relevant and current issues in labor law and advises domestic and foreign clients on the prevention and resolution of labor disputes of particular complexity.

Marisol is an attorney with more than 25 years of experience in labor and employment law, excelling in advising and consulting on collective labor relations.

Currently, she is a Jr. Partner of the Firm, where she leads the labor law practice area, handling strike notices, contractual negotiations and revisions of collective bargaining agreements.

Throughout her career, she has developed a solid experience in coordinating the response to labor inspections issued by the authorities.

She is also responsible for the Registry of Specialized Services or Specialized Works Providers (REPSE), ensuring the compliance of companies in this area.

Her education includes a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), graduating with honors. She has also complemented her education with several diploma courses in tax reforms, administrative litigation law and union repercussions resulting from the ILO Convention 98.

As part of her commitment to the development of labor and employment law in Mexico, she is currently an Employer Counselor of the National Commission of Minimum Wages (CONASAMI) and a member of the Group of Experts of the Labor and Employment, Social Security and Human Resources Commission of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (CONCAMIN).

Her trajectory has consolidated her as an expert in labor law, with a strategic vision in the negotiation and resolution of conflicts between companies and unions at a national level.

José Luis has been part of this law firm since 2004 and specializes in the areas of Consulting, Strike Proceedings, Collective Disputes, Litigation and Consultation of Collective Bargaining Agreements and Profit Sharing.

He graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

He has focused on the attention of Strike and Collective Proceedings of a Legal and Economic Nature before the Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, and, due to the labor reform, before the Federal and Local Labor Courts, as well as providing preventive and corrective advice to our clients in union matters.

In the same way, we have participated in multiple conciliations and negotiations of salary and contractual revisions, and breach of contract, for its solution with different union organizations.

Gustavo joined the firm in 2014, where he specializes in the areas of Consulting, Individual, Collective and Amparo Litigation in Labor Law.

He is a graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

Gustavo has focused on providing preventive and corrective counseling to our clients in current labor issues such as REPSE, Legitimations, consultations to validate contractual revisions, NOM 035, 036, 037, etc., as well as in labor audits, inspections and appeals of administrative fines.

On the other hand, as a litigation attorney, he has extensive experience in handling individual and collective claims before Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, Labor Courts, Conciliation Centers, District Courts and Collegiate Circuit Courts.

Additionally, he has participated in multiple conciliations and negotiations for the resolution of collective conflicts with several labor unions.

Jaime graduated from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla in 2002 with a law degree in International Law, obtaining an honorable mention for his outstanding academic career.

He has extensive experience in international trade, civil, commercial and labor and employment law. He began his career in 1999 at Volkswagen de México S.A. de C.V., in the Labor Relations area, managing individual and collective conflicts.

Since 2001, he has been part of the firm, specializing in labor litigation, audits and collective bargaining.

For more than sixteen years, he has led the firm’s office in Baja California Sur, providing advice in Corporate and Labor Law to national and international companies in the hotel, gastronomic, real estate and service sectors in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, La Paz and Loreto.

Alejandro has been part of the firm since 2011, where he specializes in the areas of consulting, individual and collective litigation and amparo in labor matters.

He is a graduate of the Universidad del Valle de México, has a Specialty in Labor Law from the Universidad Panamericana, a Diploma in Human Rights, Amparo and Labor Law from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a Diploma in Amparo proceedings, taught by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation through the General Direction of Houses of Legal Culture.

Alejandro has more than 25 years of experience in the field and has focused on providing preventive and corrective advice to our clients in labor matters.

Likewise, as a litigation attorney, he has extensive experience in handling individual claims and collective negotiations before Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, Labor Courts, Conciliation Centers, District Courts and Collegiate Circuit Courts.

Daniel received his law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in 2003.

Subsequently, in 2014, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Criminal Sciences and Criminalistics from Universidad Anáhuac.

Since 2009, he has worked for the firm as a specialist in labor and employment law.

His experience includes collective bargaining, labor consulting and litigation, advising national and international companies in conflict management and regulatory compliance.

Throughout his career, he has participated in the drafting and revision of employment agreements, union negotiations, implementation of strategies for the prevention of litigation and legal representation in labor claims.

He has also been involved in labor restructuring processes and in the adjustment of internal policies in accordance with the current legislation.

His work at the firm has focused on the development of legal strategies to ensure compliance with employer obligations and employees’ rights.

With more than 16 years of experience in labor law, Jonatan Peláez Aparicio is a specialist in consulting, individual and collective litigation, as well as in amparo in labor matters.

Since 2016, he has been part of the firm and now holds the position of Subdirector of Individual Litigation, where he gives counsel and represents national and international companies in various sectors before the Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, Labor Courts, Conciliation Centers, District Courts and Collegiate Circuit Courts.

Graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and with a specialty in Civil Law from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Jonatan complements his trajectory with studies in amparo proceedings given by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

His focus on regulatory compliance, risk prevention and negotiation makes him a strategic ally for companies seeking effective solutions in labor matters.

Gustavo Pérez has more than 16 years of experience as a counselor to companies.

He is a graduate of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, with a specialty in Labor Law and Social Security.

Since 2009 he has been part of the firm and has specialized in Individual Litigation, Consulting and Advising in high-impact terminations of employees.

He has represented and advised companies in various sectors, such as banking, finance, telecommunications, construction, among others.

Gustavo has extensive experience in litigation before Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, Conciliation Centers, Labor Courts and Federal Courts in amparo proceedings.

He currently holds the position of Assistant Director of Individual Litigation in the Local jurisdiction.

Patricia graduated from the Colegio Holandés School as a lawyer and has been part of the firm since 2008. She currently coordinates the Afore Banamex Area, where she leads a team specialized in consulting and individual litigation before Federal Conciliation Centers, Labor Courts, Social Security authorities, Afores and in the processing of amparo proceedings.

In 2015 she obtained a Master’s Degree in Labor Law, as well as a specialty in Labor Law, both granted by the Instituto de Posgrado en Derecho. She has complemented her academic training with several post-graduate programs, among which stand out the Labor Justice Seminars given by the Law School of the UNAM (Graduate Studies Division) in 2016.

In 2018, she completed two diploma certificates in energy matters: the first at the Escuela Libre de Derecho and the second at the Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas de la UNAM. Subsequently, in 2019, she participated in the workshop Insurance and Guarantees for the hydrocarbons sector, thus strengthening her multidisciplinary experience in regulated industries.

Patricia is distinguished by her strategic and technical approach to complex labor issues, as well as her commitment to excellence and personalized attention to clients.

Daniel specializes in labor and employment law and international mobility.

With a solid background in litigation, labor consulting and international mobility, Daniel has experience in representing clients in individual litigation, as well as in the planning and execution of risk mitigation strategies in corporate environments. He has advised companies in the implementation of labor regulations, offering effective solutions to strengthen their labor relations.

Daniel holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana and has complemented his education with a Master’s degree in International Law from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía in Madrid and a certification in data privacy from the Georgetown University.

His focus is on consulting for the prevention of conflicts and the generation of strategies which allow companies to operate efficiently within the current legal framework and in international contexts.

His experience in prestigious firms and his work as professor in labor law reflect his commitment to the development of his specialty.

Mauro obtained his law degree from the Universidad de la Escuela Comercial Cámara de Comercio.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Labor Procedural Law from the Centro de Estudios de Posgrado.

Also, has a Diploma in Amparo given by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation through the General Direction of Houses of Legal Culture.

He attended a Seminar on The New Labor Justice System given by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation through the Unit for the Implementation of the Labor Justice Reform and the General Direction of Houses of Legal Culture.

Mauro has focused on providing preventive and corrective counseling to our clients in labor matters. Likewise, as a litigation attorney, he has more than 19 years of experience in dealing with individual claims before the Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, Labor Courts, District Courts and Collegiate Circuit Courts.

He has been part of the firm since 2011; and currently he is in charge of coordinating an individual litigation team in the Federal jurisdiction.

Marcos has been part of the firm since 2009 and has 20 years of experience in Labor and Amparo matters.

He specializes in handling individual claims before Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, Labor Courts, District Courts and Collegiate Circuit Courts, as well as in handling conciliation proceedings before Local and Federal Conciliation Centers.

He graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked for 7 years in the private sector, where he handled labor relations and individual claims.

He is currently a litigation attorney, coordinating a team of lawyers in the area of Individual Litigation and provides advice to companies on employee termination procedures.

Alejandro has been part of the firm since 2011, where he is coordinator of Individual Litigation in the local jurisdiction.

He is a graduate of the Universidad Tecnológica de México with a specialty in Labor and Social Security Law and has a Diploma in Amparo proceedings taught remotely by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

Alejandro Mata is responsible for the attention of individual claims before the Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, Labor Courts, District Courts and Collegiate Circuit Courts, handling all types of hearings and supporting companies in the restructuring required in the workplace.

Likewise, he has successfully coordinated, with the support of his team, the conciliations before the new Labor Conciliation Centers, in which he has obtained a favorable conciliation for the companies of over 90%, avoiding the dispute escalating to a claim before the Labor Courts.

Arturo has been part of the firm since 2016, where he is in charge of coordinating an individual litigation team in the local jurisdiction.

He has a law degree from Universidad Insurgentes.

He has a Diploma in Amparo taught by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation through the General Direction of Houses of Legal Culture.
